Thomas County fugitive turns himself in

Thomasville - A fugitive accused of stabbing his ex-girlfriend with a butcher knife has turned himself in to the Thomas County Sheriff's Office.

Investigators have been searching for 33 year-old Jerry Lee Daniels of Boston since Tuesday.

They say Daniels showed up to an ex-girlfriend's home off of Chestnut street in Boston Tuesday night and is accused of stabbing her six times in the face, shoulders and arms.

She has been treated and released from Archbold Memorial Hospital.

Daniels turned himself in to the Thomas County Sheriff's Office around 10:00 Thursday morning and is charged with aggravated assault.
