Albany - The Albany State Rams made the most of their first home games of the season by sweeping Edward Waters in a doubleheader Tuesday.
The Rams won game one in extra innings 7-6 and won game two 8-0 on a two-hitter by Clarence Brown.
In game one, Albany State got two out hits in the bottom of the seventh to force extra frames.
Then in the bottom of the ninth, Demetrice Johnson hit a solo homerun to tie the game and the Rams won it on a run scoring single by B.J. Stewart.
Albany State baseball team is now 7-5 and back at home to play Miles on Friday afternoon.
