Florida men behind Thomas County bars

February 12, 2008

Thomasville --  Three Tallahassee men are in jail in Thomasville on multiple charges after briefly leading police on a high speed chase.

A Thomas county deputy spotted the men going 91 miles per hour in 55 zone and tried to pull them over.

The truck was driven by 36-year-old Joseph Isom.

32-year-old Darryl Steele and 35-year-old Reginald Owens were riding in the truck.

Isom didn't stop until a second deputy pulled out in front of them.

When deputies searched the car they found two partially burned marijuana cigars, 12 grams of cocaine,  10 ecstasy pills, and a loaded .40 caliber handgun that was stolen in Tallahassee.
