Albany -- An Albany man is charged with second degree vehicular homicide, when a woman dies in a truck crash on the Liberty Bypass last month.
23 year old Jeffery Adams is charged with misdemeanor vehicular homicide, failure to maintain lane, and child restraint violation. Adams was driving the pick up truck on the Liberty Bypass January 29th, when it drifted into the emergency lane and struck a parked semi-truck.
A passenger in his pickup, 21 year old Alicia Gambrell was killed when she was ejected from the truck. Her one year old son Tristin Gambrell was not injured. Adams suffered a broken leg in the crash.
59-year old Jimmy Howell from Fort White, Florida was driving the eighteen wheeler. He told police he was parked on the side of the road reading a map when the pickup truck crashed into him.
