Ga. DOT announces Temporary I-75 Detour in Crisp County

Tifton - Contractors for the Georgia DOT will temporarily detour I-75 Southbound traffic on Monday, February 11, 2008 and Tuesday, February 12, 2008, between 10:00 pm and 7:00 am, weather permitting.

The prime contractor, Archer Western Contractors, will utilize a temporary detour to facilitate the removal of the bridge over I-75 on CR 361 (Farmers Market Road).    

The detour routes are:    I-75 Southbound traffic will exit the interstate at Exit 104 (CR 361), travel across CR 361, Farmers Market Road, to the Exit 104 Southbound on ramp and return to the interstate.

Georgia 511 is a free phone service that provides real-time traffic and travel information statewide, such as traffic conditions, incidents, lane closures, and delays due to bad weather.

Callers can also reach live operators to request assistance or report incidents 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
