February 9, 2008

Albany -- A fight late Friday night after a high school basketball game lead to several shots being fired in East Albany.

Around 10:30 Friday night, a large group began fighting near the McDonald's parking lot on East Oglethorpe. Witnesses say the group had come from a basketball game at nearby Dougherty High School.

That fight carried over into the Roses parking lot.

That's where two shots hit a Ford Expedition driven by Nathaniel Wingfield.

He was not hurt.

Police recovered three shell casings from two different hand guns. So far no arrests have been made.
