Lee County -- We now know that it was the force of the collision that killed a Lee County man on Forrester Parkway Monday.
44-year old Eddie Nickens' car was stopped in the Eastbound lane of Forrester Parkway when another car slammed into the back of it Monday.
The coroner says Nickens' suffered fatal head and chest injuries from hitting the windshield and the steering wheel.
The driver of the car that slammed into him, 27-year old Josh Landon Boutwell is charged with driving with a suspended license.
Nickens did not have on his seat belt, which investigators say contributed to the severity of his injuries.
