VSU baseball gets first win

Valdosta -- The Valdosta State baseball team won its first game of the Greg Guilliams era Sunday, as the Blazers salvaged the third game of the series with Francis Marion with an 8-0 win.

Glen Lemke scattered three hits while striking out seven in seven innings of work.

VSU returns to action Wednesday at Columbus State.
