Adel - Police have arrested a teenager on drug charges in Cook and Lowndes County.
19 year-old Altwon Scruggs of Adel was wanted in Cook County for probation violations and narcotics charges in Lowndes County.
Police in Adel say he was arrested Friday morning after they received a tip from an off duty officer, who spotted him walking down the street.
He was found carrying a bag with one pound of marijuana and cocaine.
He's now being charged with possession of intent to distribute and obstruction of an officer.
