Cuthbert -- A South Georgia college swore in its 21st President on Thursday.

Andrew College students, faculty, trustees and three former Andrew Presidents took part in an inauguration ceremony in Cuthbert.

Dr. David Seyle came to the college in 1991.

As president, he says he'll make sure Andrew continues to focus on liberal arts and service.

"I fell in love with its mission.  To serve the communities, to server under-served students.  The campus, the community, is such a family oriented place that everybody who comes here becomes a part of the family," Seyle said.

Andrew College was founded in 1854 and became co-ed in 1956.

It's connected to the United Methodist Church.
