Teen incarcerated for threats

Albany -- Dougherty County Sheriff's Investigators arrested a 16-year-old Turner Job Corps Student for phoning threats to the Dougherty County Courthouse Wednesday morning.

Investigators say the teen made a series of calls and make one veiled threat against the building. The Courthouse was not evacuated, but the building was searched.

The student confessed. He was charged with felony transmitting a false public alarm and was turned back over to Job Corps officials.
