Albany --   A federal jury is now deliberating in a south Georgia child pornography trial.

Former Sumter County Sheriff's Office Employee Thomas Lowery, Junior has been on trial for two weeks.

He's charged with having child pornography on his work computer and taking an 11 year old boy to Los Angeles for sex.

The defense contends that other people working in the Sheriff's Office had access to Lowery's work computer, and that he was not the one transmitting and receiving child porn found on it.

The case went to the jury late Thursday and, of course, WALB News 10 will bring you the verdict as soon as it's in.
