Pavo - Deputies have arrested a Pavo man for the sexual assault of a 12 year-old boy.
33 year-old Julian Joiner is charged with child molestation and battery..
Investigators say the boy was visiting a neighbor Wednesday night when Joiner came to the home.
They say he made several sexual comments to the boy.
Investigators say when he didn't respond, Joiner hit him, dragged him to a bedroom, and molested him.
The boy was able to escape, run home and called the Thomas County Sheriff's Office.
Joiner will also be charged with obstruction of an officer for hitting a jail office once in custody.
