Tifton -- Voters in Tift County are definitely taking advantage of early voting. The numbers of early voters are larger than expected.

About 100 people came out to cast their vote Monday. And those numbers look to be a lot stronger Tuesday.

Regardless of the huge turn-out so far, poll workers are expecting it to be even busier on Super Tuesday.

"In the past it has been a good indicator that if it has been busy in the advanced, it will be busy on Tuesday as well. And today its been a steady flow. We probably had 60 to 70 people so far today. So its been going very well, said Tift County Board of Elections Member, Bob Swartz.

Early voting will continue throughout the state until Friday. Those of you wishing to cast an absentee ballot can also do it this week.
