Police lock down VSU Fine Arts building

Valdosta - Valdosta State Police say a student called them at 12:30 Tuesday afternoon, saying they spotted another student entering the Fine Arts Building with a gun.

Police locked down the building and searched it room-by-room.

They say they now have a suspect in custody and determined the gun was a stage prop.

Police are now interviewing the student.

We'll have more information tonight at 6:00 PM.
