Rivals Terrell Academy and Randolph-Southern split basketball doubleheader

Dawson - The Terrell Academy Lady Eagles avenged one of their three losses with a 57-44 victory over Randolph-Southern Monday night.

Haley O'Hearn was one of four Lady Eagles in double figure and led Terrell Academy with 14 points.

Lauren Whatley led the Lady Patriots (16-3) with 15 points.

Randolph-Southern won 61-60 at the first meeting in December in Shellman.

The boys game was even closer with Randolph-Southern winning 64-62.
