Albany -- A group of Southwest Georgia teens have been partying like rock stars in Albany.
Some teenagers have been performing in a lot between San Joe's Restaurant and the Albany Police Department for months.
Four or five bands perform about twice a month to a crowd of their peers. Teens say this gives them a creative outlet that also helps them stay out of trouble.
"Sundays usually everybody just sits around and goes to the mall, but this gives us something to do. I hope that kids decide to come out and support their local music artists. And its hard for us to make any money. Sometimes we take a loss. But love it, so we just do it," said Leesburg teen, Robert Weaver.
Parents of band members also attend these performances to make sure the teens don't ever get out of hand.
