Albany -- Georgians can begin advanced voting Monday for the February Fifth Presidential Primary.

The voting machines for Dougherty County will be set up at the Riverfront Resource Center at 125 Pine Avenue. Advanced voting across Georgia runs next Monday through Friday from 8:30 to 5.

Dougherty County Elections Supervisor Carolyn Hatcher said "they must pick Democrat or Republican Party, because this is a primary. And they also must show photo identification. This is for voting early for no reason."

Registered voters can request an absentee ballot through Friday. Several candidates who have already dropped out of the presidential race will still appear on your ballot.
