Albany - New Ole Miss coach Houston Nutt has landed one of the top linebackers in the state of Georgia.
Westover High's Jason Jones comitting to sign with the Ole Miss Rebels on Tuesday.
The commitment comes after Jason made an visit to the Ole Miss campus over the weekend.
New Ole Miss defensive coordinator Tyrone Nix wanted Jason when Nix was at South Carolina.
And the fact Nix still wanted Jones when he moved to Oxford is a big reason Jason will soon be an Ole Miss Rebel.
Jason Jones said "So, I figured that okay if somebody wants to do that. Go from one place to another and still recruit me. That means he still wants me to play for his defense."
Jason Jones also had scholarship offers from Louisville and Georgia Southern.
National signing day is February 6th.
