Albany - You'll soon have a new place to borrow a book or use a computer. Renovation on the new Northwest Library in the old Rhodes furniture building on Dawson Road should begin soon. Right now, the library board of trustees is sending out a request for architects.

County Administrator Richard Crowdiss said, "Once they get the architect on board, they'll design it and put out specifications for contractors to come in and do renovations."

The library should be finished by the end of 2008. The project is being paid for with sales tax money.
