Albany -- The Atlanta Braves are in the middle of a busy offseason, but General Manager Frank Wren found the time to make a stop in Albany Tuesday night.
Wren was in town as the keynote speaker at the Albany Area YMCA annual meeting and celebration.
The Braves GM says strong youth programs play a very important role in the lives of young athletes.
"I think that's one of the things that missing in society today," says Wren, "is environments where kids want to go to be athletic, and I think that's one of the things the YMCA creates for kids."
The Braves play their first exhibition game February 27th against Georgia.
