Albany -- Someone stole a van from an east Albany church. Members hope you can help them get it back.

Members at the Sunnyside Baptist Church on South Mock Road noticed one of their vans was missing from their parking lot behind the church Monday morning.

The 1979 Ford Extend Van looked like this one, except it was blue. It does have Sunnyside Baptist Church printed on the sides.

They use the van to transport children for their youth programs. Sunnyside Baptist Church PastorDennis Taylor said  "with that van missing, you know we have to make another trip, and it just causes a lot of different troubles. But it's a big need."

At the Wednesday night's service church members prayed together for the person who stole the van. They say if the thief returns the van, they'll take it with no questions asked.
