Albany - The first year Albany Tech team continues to suffer through their growing pains.
South Georgia Tech knocked off the Titans 93-83 Wednesday night at Albany State's HPER Gym.
Melvin Patterson led the Titans (8-8, 0-3) with 20 points.
SGTC's Steve Robinson led the Jets with 24 points.
Albany Tech tries again for that first ever region win Saturday afternoon at ABAC.
In Americus, Clayton State downed Georgia Southwestern 62-48 in Peach Belt Conference action.
The Lady Canes also lost 79-47 to the Lakers.
