Americus- Americus got a dose of winter weather with sleet that fell Wednesday morning and afternoon.
You could see the sleet bouncing off of the cars in downtown Americus.
Mixed with rain, it melted just about as fast as it hit the windshield of passing cars. It didn't prove to be much of a problem and just wet roadways for cars making their way around.
