Reed Bingham Rangers search for eagles

January 14, 2008

Adel - Think you've seen a bald eagle souring in the South Georgia skies? Well the rangers at Reed Bingham want to know about it.

A specialist with the Department of Natural Resources will be traveling to the park Tuesday.

Together with park rangers, they'll be using a helicopter to track the eagles and spot their nests.

This will help them monitor the population and protect the nests.

They are asking anyone who may have seen an eagle or spotted a nest to call Reed Bingham with a detailed location or GPS Coordinates.

That number is 229-896-3551.
