Tifton - Tift County will not be looking for a new head coach.
Jay Walls has withdrawn his name for consideration for the head coach/athletic director position at Choctawhatchee High School in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.
Walls was one of three finalists for the job but decided that it just wasn't good move professionally.
Walls applied for the job because he does have grown children in the Florida Panhandle and was considering moving closer to them.
In three seasons at Tift County, Jay Walls has won 25 games and the 2006 region 1-AAAA title.
