Albany - Albany State junior Scheraun King posted a double-double in the Rams 73-66 overtime win over Kentucky State Thursday at the HPER gym.
King had 21 points and ten rebounds in 40 minutes of action.
Tyrone Evans added 14 points and James Clark scored 12.
Albany State is 6-3 and 4-1 in the SIAC.
The Lady Rams won their second straight game.
La'Toya Coard and Aldranny Peak both scored 14 points each in the the Lady Rams 69-53 victory.
Peak also had 12 rebounds.
The Albany State women have won four of their last five games and are 5-6 and 3-2 in the SIAC.
Albany State hosts SIAC rival Fort Valley State on Sunday.
The women's game has been moved to a 5:00 p.m. start because the men's game will be televised at 7:30 p.m Sunday on ESPNU
A cold shooting night costs Valdosta State on the road.
The Blazers shoot just 32% from the field in a 70-58 loss at Flagler College.
Devario Hudson had 14 points to lead VSU.
The Blazers are now 8-7 with their Gulf South Conference opener Monday night at the Complex against North Alabama.
