Albany -- The Albany State basketball team will be making a rare appearance on its home court Tuesday night.
Two months into the season, the Rams will play just their second game in HPER Gymnasium, as ASU hosts Lane.
Albany State is 2-2 in the conference after Saturday's win at Tuskegee.
The Rams are set to play three straight at home, with games against Kentucky State and Fort Valley State scheduled for Thursday and Sunday, respectively.
ASU head coach Chris Cameron says he's looking forward to getting a chance to play in Albany.
"We want to give our students, and the people in the city of Albany the chance to come out and watch us play and support us," says Cameron. "That does a lot for our guys. It's very important to play at home. It's very important to win at home."
The school is expecting to hold a ceremony between the games against Lane, presenting the championship rings to the 2006 - 2007 SIAC champion Ram basketball team.
