A Georgia Congressman told us he's glad the time to start casting votes in the Presidential race is finally here.
Eighth District Democratic Representative Jim Marshall isn't actively campaigning for any presidential candidate.
Thursday's results may make Barack Obama the new frontrunner. Marshall think's Obama might do well in Georgia in November as a vice presidential candidate.
"I've thought for some time that an Edwards/Obama ticket would be a pretty good one in Georgia. I don't know if anything like that could happen," he said.
Republican winner Mike Huckabee sent out an appeal for grassroots supporters in Georgia after the results came in.
He says he's hoping for a longshot win in Georgia similar to Governor Perdue's back in 2002.
