Dougherty County - - An unusual accident blocked traffic on a Dougherty County road Thursday night and sent a man to the hospital.
Seventy-eight year old James Alsobrook got run over by his own truck on Radium Springs Road.
He was driving north just before 7 o'clock when he suddenly needed to get out of his truck.
He pulled to the side of the road and thought he parked his truck.
Instead, he put it in reverse.
As he got of the truck, it ran over his left leg.
Police detoured traffic onto Williamsburg Road.
Alsobrook was listed at Phoebe Thursday night in fair condition.
