Albany - - Senior Citizens who may have important changes in their health care, will need to make sure they report those changes to Medicare within the next three days.
December 31st is the deadline to report changes such as new prescriptions or illnesses.
Several South Georgia churches are working together to help seniors who may not know how to report the changes or where to go. New Vision Ministries is one of them.
They say they feel it's their responsibility to help.
"A lot of times when they cant afford their medications, they have to come either to the church, or the family. the responsibility falls on either or with most people being on social security and SSI, they can't afford another cost of paying for medications," says Sonya Peterson.
