Americus hospital wants votes

December 28, 2007

Americus --  Sumter Regional Hospital is making a final push to win a MRI machine, and they're getting a little help from Americus Mayor Barry Blount.

Blount declared Monday, December 31st "Vote for SRH Day" in Americus. It's the final day of online voting in a nationwide contest.

Siemens Medical Solutions will give an MRI the machine to the community hospital that gets the most votes. Several finalists have videos on the voting website.

Right now, Sumter Regional's "Blown Away" video is in first place. They want everyone to vote one last time before Monday.
