Thomasville-- Thomasville's uninsured will soon be able to receive medical care more easily.   Archbold Hosptial is partnering with Primary Care of Southwest Georgia on a new medical facility.

For $850,000, Archbold will finance the renovation of a county-owned building that now houses Family Dollar. It will become a clinic for people without insurance who often use the Emergency Room for primary care. They'll be able to pay on a sliding fee scale, what they can afford.

County commissioners voted unanimously to lease the building at no charge. The facility will open next August.
