Mrs. Jessie Carter Lamb, 93, of  Sharpsburg, GA died Thursday Dec 20, 2007 at Southland Health Care and Rehab Center in Peachtree City GA.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM Thursday Dec 27, 2007 at Kimbrell-Stern Funeral Directors.  Rev. William Rhodes will officiate.  Interment will be at Oakridge Cemetery in Tifton, GA.

A native of McKeesport, PA, Mrs. Lamb lived in Albany since 1952 before moving to Sharpsburg, GA a few years ago.  She was a member of First Baptist Church of Albany and the DORCA Sunday School Class.  She was active in the WMU and was in Crape Myrtle Chapter #163 Order of the Eastern Star.  She worked with Prisants Jewelers.

Survivors include her daughter Brenda Edwards and her husband (Sam) of Sharpsburg, GA; a brother Harry Carter of Cherry Lake, FL: 2 grandchildren: Kim Bickerstaff Woodard of Newnan, GA and Robert Bickerstaff IV of Kapolei Hawaii; and 6 step-grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren: Rylee Woodard, Landon Woodard, Brett Bickerstaff, and Kyleigh Bickerstaff; and 11 step great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Thursday Dec 27, 2007 from 11:00 to 12:00 PM at Kimbrell-Stern.
