Albany -- An Albany Police officer suffered minor injuries when his patrol car crashed Thursday night. The person who caused the wreck is still on the loose.

37-year-old Officer Rico Potts was heading South on South Slappey Boulevard around 7:30 when a pickup truck made an improper left turn in front of him.

Potts swerved to avoid the truck and crashed into a utility pole. He was treated for minor injuries at Phoebe Putney.

Police are looking for a gray or blue Chevrolet 1500 Silverado Pickup with a silver stripe and a silver tool box.

If you have any information about the crash call CRIME STOPPERS at 436-TIPS.
