Washington D.C. - The Valdosta State Blazer's National Championship win was celebrated at our Nations Capitol Tuesday, by none other than Missouri Congressman Sam Graves.

Representative Graves showed up at the steps of the US Capitol Tuesday dressed in red and black, waving a VSU flag.

It was payoff for a friendly wager made with Congressman Jack Kingston over who would win the Division II National Championship football game between the Valdosta State Blazers and the Northwest Missouri State Bearcats.

The loser had to pose for a photo wearing the winner's shirt, with the winning Congressman.

Of course, the Blazers walked with the win and Congressman Kingston with this priceless photo.
