Leary--  Federal agents continue their investigation into the cause of a Calhoun County church fire.

Spring Creek Missionary Baptist Church was destroyed by flames on the morning of December 8th. Days later, the Georgia State Fire Marshal's Office asked The National Response Team to step in and help investigate the cause.

They've wrapped up their investigation on site and now say it will take real detective work to find out what led to the fire. They've processed lab samples and are still following up on leads.

Special Agent In Charge Scott Sweetow says they have no time frame when the investigation will be complete. The church fire will be ruled accidental, incendiary or undetermined.
