Bainbridge--  Bainbridge High School's JROTC exceeded their goal of collecting 1,200 toys for their toys for tots programs.

Friday they handed hundreds of them over to the Salvation Army.  Many others went to the Bainbridge Housing Authority for 32 children from low-income families.  Paula Pollock, from the Bainbridge Housing Authority says, "Its going to help them tremendously. Not having to worry about whether or not the children will have Christmas or not. And we just greatly appreciate this."

Twenty-five of these toys were donated by 6-year-old Piper Harrell who asked for toys for the program at her birthday party this year.
