Albany -- Albany's Child Advocate Organization Open Arms said thank you to their community volunteers.

The non-profit agency held a Community Partners Holiday Open House at their headquarters on Pine Avenue. Open Arms provided lunch, to say "thank you" to the people who help them help victims of child abuse.

Open Arms Executive Director Fonda Strong said "today we want to thank our community partners for sharing in this mission with us. It takes all of us together."

Open Arms started working in Albany in 1991. This year, they served more than one thousand children.
