Albany - A former Brooks County jailer appeared in federal court Wednesday on drug charges.

21-year-old Kendrick Wade pleaded not guilty to possession of cocaine with intent to distribute.

Wade was indicted two weeks ago for possession with intent to distrubute cocaine.

He worked as a jailer in Brooks County for one year.

Wade's trial is scheduled for February.
