Rochelle -- Wilcox County will get to host their first ever state championship game.
The Georgia High School Association has cleared another 1000 tickets to sell for fans wanting to attend Friday's game against Emanuel County Institute.
The GHSA had wanted to cut the ticket number at 4000.
Wilcox County coach Mark Ledford says alot of family members of his players had yet to buy their tickets.
Ledford says those family members will get top priority with the extra tickets and then rest will go on sale to the general public.
"We still have family of kids that did not get their tickets on Monday," says Ledford. "We're going to do everything we can to make sure we get more tickets, and it we have to move it, then we'll just have to move it."
The Class A championship game will start at 8:00 p.m. Friday night at Donnie Clack Stadium in Rochelle.
