Sylvester -- Families in one South Georgia town got into the holiday spirit Saturday night.

Sylvester held their Christmas Parade, and hundreds of people came out to watch it. Floats made their way down Isabella Street in downtown Sylvester.

The parade is an annual event that is a lot of fun for spectators, and those participating in it.

"It's fun, it's family time. And we all just come out here and get candy. It's just fun," said Lecey Ferley.

"Especially because Jesus is the reason for the season, and we just wanted everyone to remember that and keep Christ in Christmas," said Meg Harrison of the Sylvester Lighthouse Church of God float.

And of course, Santa ended the parade.
