Lowndes County - An early morning car crash in Lowndes County leaves one teen dead and five others injured.
Troopers say 17 year-old Edward Cowart was driving his Ford Bronco going north on Stallings Road around four this morning when he lost control and the SUV overturned.
They say there were multiple ejections and an 18 year-old was killed.
The five others, all between the ages of 13 and 18, were hospitalized with injuries.
Investigators say Cowart was drunk.
He's being charged with homicide by vehicle and numerous other traffic and drinking violations.
