Rochelle -- The Wilcox County football team is playing in the Georgia Dome for the first time.
The Patriots scored the biggest win in school history last week, knocking off two-time defending state champ Lincoln County to advance to the semi-finals.
Wilcox County now matches up with an Athens Academy team that played in the Dome last season.
Both teams have twelve-wins on the year, but the Patriots have the advantage by the numbers.
Wilcox averages over 36-points per game, while allowing less than nine.
The teams will open the semi-finals Friday morning, kicking off at 9 a.m. in the Georgia Dome.
