Brooks County - A Valdosta man is arrested for robbing a bank in Brooks County.

25 year-old Jerome Williams is charged with Armed Robbery and Possession of a Gun during the Commission of a Felony.

Investigators say this surveillance video shows Williams entering the Ameris Bank of Troupeville last Friday afternoon.

He pulled out a semi-automatic hand gun, jumped behind the counter and took money from the tellers.

His picture was released to the media which led to his arrest and the recovery of the money and the gun.

Federal charges are pending against Williams.
