Albany -- Talk about the Grinch who stole Christmas! Someone stole Christmas decorations right out of the yard at an East Albany house.

You know those large inflatable snowmen? Someone snatched one from the yard at a house on East First Avenue. Other decorations were stolen, too.

Shelia Taylor put up the decorations for her grandson. The brazen thieves took them while the family was just a few yards away, inside the house.

"I think it's sad someone would come in your yard and take your Christmas decorations. It's not the amount of what they took. It's just the idea they came on my property and took it. And I done that for my Grandbaby."

Taylor removed her remaining decorations, fearing the thieves would return and take those, too.
