Albany-  Harvey's Supermarkets have teamed up with a Georgia peanut grower to send boiled peanuts to troops overseas, and you can help.

Through Saturday, when you buy a bag of Hardy Boiled Peanuts, you'll get one free to donate to the troops. Just drop the extra bag in the white donation bin near the display. Later this month, the bags will be delivered by the National Guard.

"The National Guard is going to distribute them for us and make sure that they get to the right places and it's just a great way through the holiday season to show our support for our troops overseas," said Johnny Wisham, Harvey's Produce Manager.

When you check out, the cashier will give you a note that you can fill out with a personal message for a soldier who will receive the peanuts. Displays have been set up in every Harvey's store in Georgia, Florida, and South Carolina.
