Valdosta - Honor Flight South Georgia is preparing for take-off again but they won't be able to give veterans the trip of a lifetime without your help.
Honor Flight is preparing to send their third group of World War Two veterans to Washington DC to visit the memorial built in their honor.
122 veterans from all over Georgia and Florida have signed up and are ready to make the flight.
They hope the flight will take-off this spring. "Certainly no later than May. We want to go as soon as we can because we know these veterans are dying at 1200 a day and we don't want to loose any more before we go," says Buddy Johnson, Honor Flight South Georgia Co-Founder.
Each veteran is sent to DC free of charge, thanks to donations from the community.
But the third flight still needs $30,000 in order to take off this spring.
