Valdosta - Valdosta police arrested one man they say is responsible for more than 20-smash and grab burglaries.

33 year-old Nevada Moore was taken into custody Saturday.

Police say DNA and other evidence found at the crime scenes connected him to 24 commercial burglaries over the last several months.  "We've linked him to those burglaries. He has confessed to 17 of those but we are asking for arrest warrants for all 24 burglaries that have occurred in Valdosta," says Commander Brian Childress of the Valdosta Police.

Police charged him with 17-counts of burglary and six counts of criminal trespass.

Additional charges are pending.
