Colquitt County-  Nearly 40 grave markers and vases in the Funston Cemetery were damaged or destroyed after vandals tore through the cemetery Saturday night.

The damage is extensive, heavy monuments and markers knocked off their bases. In some places nearly entire rows were overturned. Flowers were left scattered. A 15 year old and 17 year old Joshua Folsom are charged with criminal damage, criminal trespass and theft by taking. Talmadge Williams who found his brother and sister in laws graves overturned and their bench smashed hopes the punishment for these teens is tough.

"I'd like to see them taken to the courthouse, put over a barrel and their butt beat," said Talmadge Williams, a victim.

Investigators say some of the stones were moved and one was found lying in the street.
